Wee Wonders
Education
While at my internship with Newfields, I assisted with the curriculum and weekly lesson plans for Wee Wonders, a weekly preschool art program. I also helped to prep materials and the space along with facilitating the program on a weekly basis. This experience allowed me to strengthen my skills in curriculum building and gave me a new setting to work on my programming skills in.
Koorsen Fire Museum Strategic Plan - Research and Strategic Planning
Research and Strategic Planning
While taking the course, Museum Administration, I was able to work with the Koorsen Fire Museum, a newly founded museum. Alongside my fellow students we were able to assess the museum and create a strategic plan to help them grow in the future. This plan require researching the area, the museum, and similar museums to determine the best course of action for the strategic plan.
Museums, Health, and Well-being Research Paper
Research
In the course, Museums, Health, and Well-being, we had the chance to dive into the ways that museums provide (or don't) health and well-being to their visitors, community, and staff. I chose to research this topic from the point of view of group of people that do not well welcome in museums spaces and so do not have the opportunity to participate or receive any the potential health and well-being benefits, Native Americans. I research the ways that people can bring heatlh and well-being benefits from museums and how some museums have decolonized so that Native voices are prioritized and Native people feel not only welcome, but that they belong.
Museum of Broken Relationships
Education
With my fellow students in the course, Museum Education, we created a future program for the Museum of Broken Relationships to utilize at their museum. While making this program, we researched the museum and best practices for museum education. Together we developed every detail needed to hold this program and a script to follow.

Oxmoor Farm Foundation Exhibit Concept
Exhibit Work
While taking the course, Public Humanities, my classmates and I were able to work closely with newly emerging Oxmoor Farm Foundations museum and its stakeholders. We created an exhibit concept for the museum about a formerly enslaved woman who lived at the farm and conducted research about her life and her family.

Gallery Interpreter
At the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, I have worked as a Gallery Interpreter since August of 2023. In my time as an interpreter, I have the opportunity to work in galleries such as Take Me There: Greece, Plasycape, Power of Children, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit. Throughout these spaces I have facilitated a wide variety of programs such as exploring and sorting objects with preschool visitors and their families all the way to explaining and engaging in activities about Anne Frank's experience in hiding.

Evaluation Analysis
In my internship at Newfields, I analyzed responses from guests and teachers from exhibit prompts and surveys. I went through every response and divided them into different categories to examine the main themes that came across. From my analysis, I compiled reports with the results that I shared with those it impacted across the museum.

Exhibit Development - Exhibit Work
Exhibit Work
In the class Exhibit Planning and Design, my classmates and I worked together to plan a future exhibit for IU Indianapolis to have about the former neighborhood that was displaced for the campus to be built. In our planning, we decided the exhibit layout, goals, mission, and wrote text for panels.
